Jobs 2 Go offer work at some of London’s most prestigious venues, therefore as most of our functions are considered VIP Events it is very important that you all understand what we expect, as we do have high standards.

 

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Jewellery is not allowed to be worn apart from one small pair of stud earrings and a wedding ring.
Hair must be neat & tidy. Ladies with long hair must have it tied back away from the face. If your hair is naturally quite curly/unruly you must gel it back.
Chewing Gum – Not allowed
Nail Varnish – Not allowed
No Stubble – Men must be clean shaven
Make sure that your shirt is tucked in and tie done up properly at all times and that your shirt sleeves are not rolled up.

 

MOBILE PHONES

If you bring a mobile phone with you it must be switched off and either left in your bag or pocket. Under no circumstances can you use your mobile phone while working.

 

TIMEKEEPING

We always expect you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your booking. At the start time of your booking we expect you to be changed and ready to start work. For large bookings we will arrange to meet you at the nearest tube/train station and all walk round together. For these large bookings we will ask you to meet us half an hour before the start of the shift.
If you are held up/running late you must call us to let us know.

 

TAKING A BOOKING

We get most of our work in for the week on a Friday.
Please call the office on a Friday or pop in so that you can be booked in for work. If we haven’t got all the work in we will ask you to write down your availability for the coming week so that when a booking comes in we know who to call.
It is your responsibility to write down and remember the bookings you have booked in for. For the larger jobs we will text you confirmation of meeting place and uniform the afternoon before, but not for all the bookings. If you are unsure where you are going ask us to text you the address or you can come into the office and get a map.

 

If you have booked into a job and then you are sick you need to be calling us to let us know. You must give us plenty of notice as we will need to replace you. People who take a booking and then just don’t turn up and do not call to let us know why they can’t go will not be offered any more work.

 

PAY WEEK

You will be paid weekly. The Jobs 2 Go week starts on a Friday and ends on a Thursday. Any work you have completed in this period will be paid into your Bank Account on the following Friday. If you do not have your own account you can come into the office and collect your cheque on a Friday.
