At Jobs2Go we consistently provide catering staff at many prestigious locations & venues around London.

We are passionate about what we do and truly believe we are nothing without our front-line staff and, in an industry where a personnel and skills crisis is widely accepted, our challenge is to ensure you receive the quality and quantity of staff where and when you need them at a competitive rate. We supply hospitality catering staff to some of London’s most prestigious conference and banqueting locations. Whether you require one, or four hundred staff, we will always approach each booking from a professional and honest perspective.

We are looking for staff with the flair and personality for an industry where customer service is paramount. We have work available for individuals looking for full or part time hours. On the temporary assignments, hours are flexible and we have many different shifts so that you can work when you are available. If you have catering experience, a flexible and professional attitude we would love to hear from you.

We Can Provide

Event Manager

Complete control and organisation of small to medium sized events or a section within a large event.

To include staff delegation and briefing. Must be confident to liaise with the Client at the event.

Event Supervisor

To work as part of the management team responsible for the delivery of the service and/or control the station with a team of staff.

Plate Waiting & Bar Staff

Required to get the room ready for service, tables laid, cutlery, glasses etc polished.

Responsible for serving the food and beverages to the guests, showing good customer service skills throughout & attend to the guests needs.

Must be professional and polite at all times. Need to be able to clear properly. Report to the Event Manager or Supervisor.

Bar Staff

Cash handling.
Stock takes.
Aware of prices and licensing laws in force.
To prepare bar area for service.
Service to customers and sometimes preparing drinks for the waiting staff to serve.
Will need to serve drinks from the Bar and at some Events would serve them directly to the table.

Silver Service Waiting Staff

Same as Plate Waiting plus:

Must be able to serve the food from a silver platter onto the plate in front of the guest using a spoon and fork.

Catering Assistant

Preparation of basic food items. Set-up and service from counter of food and beverages.

Would also be required to clean down service counters and food prep areas & able to do platewash.

Kitchen & Event Porters

Use of dishwasher and pot wash. General kitchen hygiene. Use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning machines.

Unload deliveries and put stock away. Report to the Chef.

Event Porter

Required to move furniture, chairs, tables etc to get set up for an event.

For outdoor catering events would unload the lorry of the equipment and food, then load it back into the lorry at the end of the event.

Needs to be smart in appearance as this is a more front of house Porter role. Report to the Event Manager.
